I made homemade oreo cheesecake last night. It was super easy and when I tasted it this morning I was in love! Iām not the biggest fan of no bake cheesecakes but this one is awesome!
Recipe:
Crust:
20 oreos
4 tablespoons of melted unsalted butter
-I crushed my oreos in a ziploc bag but you can use a food processor too. Mix oreos and butter until all the cookie crumbs are moist. Dump mixture into your pie pan and press down until you have an even and formed crust. Allow your crust to cool in the fridge while you make the rest.
Filling:
8oz(one box) of cream cheese room temp
1 cup of whipping cream
12 oreos roughly chopped
½ tspn vanilla extract
½ cup of powdered sugar
-Take a mixer and mix your cream cheese until its smooth. Add the sugar and vanilla extract and mix again until combined. Pour in the heavy cream and mix on low until combined and then mix on medium-high speed until you get stiff peaks. Dump the oreo pieces in and fold into your filling. Spoon and spread your mixture onto your crust. You can stop there but I wanted to add some homemade whip on top so Iāll tell you how to make that!
Whipped cream:
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
¼ (or ½) cup of powdered sugar
½ tspn vanilla extract
-just like the cheesecake mixture youāre gonna start slow until all the sugar is combined and then medium-high speed until you get stiff peaks. Spread on top of your cheesecake and garnish with oreos or with whatever youād like. Let the cheesecake rest for at least 4-5 hours or overnight in the fridge.
